He has been ordained as an Elder in the Primitive Baptist. He served as an Elder and Moderator of one of the oldest churches in wise County Virginia. He was later ordained as a Minister into the Pentecostal faith. He now is President and CEO of The Star of David, Inc. He and his wife Freda are founders of David’s Tabernacle Church in Appalachia, Virginia. Freda is Co-pastor and a former Insurance Agent. David’s Tabernacle Church is a Store Front Building and have been in operations for 36 years and counting. Bill is a former Football player at DBHS, Lees McRae College, and ETSU. Bill also Coached Football at: Boones Creek, JC South, Church Hill, Lynn View, and Science Hill High School. He has been a Recreational Supervisor, Professional Fund Raiser, and Administrator of the Local Head Start Program for 27 years. He was active in The FCA in the formative years.
